About the Round Top Tavern...
The Round Top Tavern opened in the fall of 2008 in a antique building just across the square in Round Top, Texas (Pop. 77). Formerly an old feed store, its current owner, Dempsey Malone, has artfully and tastefully restored the Tavern into a welcome gathering place for the local citizens as well as Round Top's many visitors and guests.
The Tavern offers a full bar with top shelf liquors, ice cold longnecks, Shiner Bock and Bud Lite on draft, frozen Margaritas and a full array of fine wines, distinctively served by the Tavern's manager and bartender extraordinaire, Patrick Roue. There is a daily Happy Hour and Ladies' Night on Thursdays.

Most weekends, the Tavern hosts live music featuring a local band or artist, and there is NEVER A COVER CHARGE!

Or folks can catch their favorite sports team on one of the two large flat screen televisions, kick back to Willie Nelson and friends on the internet juke box, or relax in front of their own computer using the Tavern's WiFi.
The Tavern is a cozy, intimate place to meet friends, but there is also ample seating outside on the front porch and in the stone courtyard to enjoy the fresh country air. (Although, the Tavern is a non-smoking establishment, patrons may smoke outside in either of these locations.)
There is an air of quirkiness to the Tavern, which can be seen in some of the unique architectural twists used in the building's renovation: monogrammed cowhide bar stools, custom inlaid countertop, the use of antique barn siding as an interior wall covering, knotty pine tree trunks used as support columns, and be sure not to miss the Men's bathroom!
